Cedar Construction was started in 1970 by a young ambitious Roger Stueckrath. Using his home for an office, Roger, along with one other person, a loader and an excavator made a name for themselves by doing small jobs around Wayne and Blair Nebraska. In 1972 he took a chance on a building that exceeded what was needed at the time but he had dreams of becoming a much bigger company. Today Cedar is one of the premier underground utility contractors in the Omaha area.  Cedar has continued to grow over the years. The people and the work may have changed but the small company values like caring about your employees, work ethic and even the building are still here. Today Cedar specializes in the installation of water mains, sanitary sewer and storm sewer.
